Alyssa Harrell LPA
I am a therapist who takes a client-centered approach to therapy, believing that meaningful change happens through collaboration, compassion, and trust. My goal is to support individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.

My clinical experience has included work in both a children’s crisis unit and private practice settings. In the crisis unit, I supported children and families in times of emotional distress, helping them stabilize and begin the journey of moving forward. In private practice, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and parents facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life-stage challenges.

My therapeutic style is grounded in evidence-based practices, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and often integrates elements of person-centered and play therapy, depending on the client’s age and needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to pursue their goals. In addition to therapy, I also conduct psychological assessments to help clarify diagnoses and provide insights that guide treatment planning and support.

I believe that even in the hardest seasons, there's a path forward, to heal and grow, and find joy in life again.
